Spring has arrived

When we walked around the school we saw many signs of spring.
Have you noticed all the new plant growth?

We had to work with a partner.

Daffodil Day

Look at the yellow daffodils we are wearing.
We made a donation to the Cancer Society of a gold coin.
It is Daffodil Day this Friday,  26th August.

Skipping

We have started skipping. We hope to be able to do many different skipping steps in a few weeks time.
This is our new challenge.  There will be a school skipping demonstration at the end of term 3.

Rice

When the rice was cooked it was mixed with seaweed.
It tasted like sushi,  yum!

Rice is a very important food.
More people in the world eat rice than bread.
The rice cooker cooked the rice in water.
