Tane and the stars

As part of our Matariki inquiry we read a story about Tane. 
We are pleased that he made stars for the night sky.
Sometimes we don't see the stars, why not?

It is time to celebrate Matariki.
There are many events happening.

Planting our class garden

All the gardens are ready for planting as part of Matariki.
We dug the holes, planted the plants and watered them.
Now the sun will help them to grow.
