Jack and the beanstalk
We acted out the story of Jack and the beanstalk.
Jack's mum was angry and threw the beans out.
Jack climbed the beanstalk where he found a castle belonging to a giant.
Fee fi fo fum I smell the blood of an English man. Be he alive or be he dead, I'll grind his bones to make my bread!
Jack took the treasure and chopped down the beanstalk.

Duffy Role Model Assembly
Denzel Laumatia-Paki visited our school today as a role model for reading.
A teacher told him that his passion was for sports and that he should read all the books he could about sport.
He has a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation and is now finishing his masters.
He competes in body building and trains people in strength building.
We can do anything we want with the help of reading.
